Wow! What a week:


1. IDYLWOLF was incredible! What an amazing place to be with amazing people. We all arrived safely and some of the older cousins went kayaking rather late. It was COLD but very fun. We all played and talked and then the big uglies left for AFY. 
2. FREEZE GOLDILOCKS was a play that Sunny had found for the cousins to do. Annie and I were the directors. ALL the cousins, except the AFY crew, participated. It was super fun. However we noticed that there were only six original characters and we had ten kids. So we added a few, here's our cast list:


Nate- Big Bad Wolf
Liza- Officer 
Ellie- Goldilocks
Jack- Uncle/Grandpa Bear
Maddie- Scared Officer
Claire- Father Bear
Caleb- Baby Bear
Grace- Sleepy Officer
Kate- Sergeant 
Sadie- Loopy Officer
Jane- Mother Bear


It was pretty cute. Some of our best lines were:
a) Liza was explaining why Sadie was so loopy and said, "Sorry about her, there was too much hand sanitizer in the eggnog this morning."
b) Jack, who's character we added needed some good lines so after Father and Mother bear had said that someone had been sleeping in their beds Jack said, "My bed's in the basement."
3. PARTY!!!! Alan one day announced that a new tradition at Idylwolf would be to have an amazing party before everyone left. We opened the nana wall, bought pizza and cheetos, and blasted music. We started the night off with Alan's favorite song, "Call Me Maybe".
